Pasen centrepiece

Hier nog een decoratie voor de pasen. Leuk voor op tafel. Het vergt wel wat precisie om de eitjes rauw te doppen. Maar dan heb je ook wat. Onderling bevestig je de eitjes aan elkaar met behulp van een lijmpistool. Mamsie bedankt voor de foto's! TIP: terwijl ik aan het typen ben bedenk ik me dat je de eieren net zo goed kunt koken voordat je het topje ervan af haalt. Da's zoveel makkelijker openen.
En kijk: ook Martha Stewart maakt bloempotjes van de eierschalen. Zij gebruikt ze voor het zaaien van nieuwe kruiden.


Another Easter decoration made by my mom. Nice to use as a centre piece on the Easter brunch table. It is a delicate work to take the top of the egg when still raw. You use a hot glue gun to attach the eggs to one another. TIP: just thought of why not boil the eggs before taking the top off. That's so much easier!

Een winkel waar ik zelf regelmatig door de digitale schappen struin is Moster Anne in Denemarken. Op verzoek (en betaling van transportkosten) levert ze ook buiten Denemarken. Ze heeft de meest schattige kerst en paas spulletjes en vele andere fantastische oude vonsten. Hieronder wat voorbeelden uit haar paascollectie.

Paas tafel à la Alice in Wonderland

Is het toevallig dat in Nederland de Alice in Wonderland rond pasen is uitgekomen? Zou het eerlijk gezegd niet weten maar dit thema is zoals hier bij deze gedekte tafel te zien is wel ideaal voor een paas brunch. Deze voorbeelden hebben we gespot op de Hus & Hem site. Daar gaan ze lekker in de weer met konijnen met klokjes om de nek, speelkaarten en sleutels.  Allen ingrediënten die je thuis vast ook kunt vinden.

Kleuren in de vensterbank

Met al die verschillende vormen en kleur nuances lijkt zo'n opstelling van gekleurd glas in de vensterbank al op een voorjaarsboeket zelfs zonder de bloemen! Her en der een tulp of andere voorjaarsbloem erin en je hebt een prachtig stilleven. 's Avonds wordt dit nóg mooier als je er een paar kaarsjes tussen zet.


With all these colours and shapes the coloured vases look like a spring bouquet even without the flowers. Add some tulips or other flowers in not all but a few of the vases. By night you can add come candles for extra effect. This will make the window frame look even more beautiful!
