Een moderne kerst in Kopenhagen

Wat een heerlijk licht, vrolijk en creatief familie huis. Ik zou hier zo in kunnen trekken. Ware het niet dat de kinderkamer nog even omgetoverd zou moeten worden naar een baby variant. Maar de keuken, de tafel met stoelen, de bank, de kunst, het licht en zelfs de kerst decoraties zijn allemaal zeer naar mijn smaak. En het ziet er ook uit als een geweldige playground om als kind in op te groeien.
What a great light, cheerful and creative family home. I could just move in today! Ok, the kids room would have to be flipped into a nursery but that's all. I love the kitchen, the dining table and chairs, the artwork, the light and the Christmas decorations. And this also looks like a fun place for a child to grow up in.

Fris oranje in de keuken

Als je naar deze BoBedre keuken kijkt wordt het spontaan weer zomer. Past ook wel bij de zonnige dagen die we op dit moment nog hebben. Een heerlijke kleur explosie in oranje. Maar als je zo'n mooie wit/zwarte basis hebt dan mag dat ook wel. Ook leuk is het bordenrek wat gebruikt wordt als houder voor boeken en tijdschriften.

Something you can afford yourself when the basis of the room is bright white and black. Nice detail is the platerack in yellow that is used to hold magazines and books.

Deze kwam ik tegen op het Deense blog Wooz. Een retro woning van iemand met een stevige verzamelwoede. Als je de link in haar post volgt kom je op een site waar je 360 graden afbeeldingen kunt bekijken. Dan is het net of je zelf in deze kamers staat.

Nieuw in de collectie van Swiden

Geboren en getogen aan de Zweedse kust is het niet vreemd dat de nu in Melbourne (Australië) wonende ontwerpster Charlotte Swiden nog steeds veel inspiratie haalt uit haar Scandinavische tijd. Nieuw in haar collectie is de TIVOLIVAT lijn met kaarten, poster, kussenhoezen en deze houten decoraties. TIVOLIVAT is een combinatie van de woorden TIVOLI (het beroemde pretpark) en LIVAT (wat opgetogen of levendig betekend). De collectie van Charlotte is onder de merknaam SWIDEN online verkrijgbaar.
Born and raised on the Swedish coast it will not surprise you that Charlotte Swiden, who now lives in Melbourne Australia, takes most of her inspiration from her Scandinavian years. Kleurrijke woning

Dit is nou een vrolijke kleurrijke woning. Veelal aangebracht door accessoires al is de groene vloer in de hal ook wel echt een statement. Gespot in BoligMagasinet en gefotografeerd door Pernille Kaalund. En ik zal me voorlopig nog wel blijven afvragen hoe de voorraadkast van die zwevende planken kan hebben met dat gewicht van servies erop.
This is what I would call a nice colourful home. Mostly done with accessories althought the green floor is quite a statement in the hallway. I've found these images at BoligMagasinet and they're by Pernille Kaalund. I'm amazed by how the shelves can be like that with all the porcelain ware on them. That will keep me wondering for some time...

Een uitnodigend betonnen familie huis!

Is het somber wonen in een betonnen huis? Helemaal niet! Dat bewijst dit huis gespot op het blog van IKEA. Beton afgewisseld met wit en vrolijke kleuraccenten geeft dit huis al een bijzondere basis. Ook binnen deuren zijn volledig overgeslagen. Het is een open leefruimte. Gecombineerd met geleefd, kleurrijk en praktische accessoires en legio persoonlijke spullen is dit een lekker uitnodigend familie huis om in te leven.

Coloured by nature

Gekleurd door de natuur! Wie had gedacht dat je zoveel pracht voor elkaar kunt krijgen met dingen als thee, kurkuma, granaatappel en blauwe bessen. Laat dat maar over aan Sweet Paul. Inmiddels mijn ultieme creatieve guru. Met ieder nieuw magazine weet hij me weer te verrassen. En dit ga ik zéker uitproberen!
Coloured by nature! Who would have guessed you can make such beautiful items with items as tea, tumeric, pomegranate and blueberries. Just leave it up to Sweet Paul. In the past few years he has become my creative guru. Manages to surprise me with every new magazine. And this I will definately give a go!

Een hippie huis met kleur explosie

In Bolig Magasinet staat een geweldig hippie huis met diverse kleur explosies. Door de enorme mix en match van kleuren, prints en materialen hoeven ze al niet echt meer te kijken van 'past dit bij het geheel'. Inmiddels past alles goed. Ooit gekozen voor strak industrieel met veel beton kleuren en wil je nu ook het voorjaar in huis halen. Dat kan eenvoudig met wat kleurrijke accessoires. Zoals deze ster lampen, vrolijk gekleurde vaasjes en bijvoorbeeld de theedoeken van Rie Elise Larsen.

Wil je kleur en sfeer in huis aanbrengen en ben je ook gek op creatief bezig zijn. Dan haal je vast inspiratie uit dit beeld. Gekleurde Eames en Arne Jacobsen stoelen, een Kartell Fly hanglamp (deze vind je ook veel op marktplaats) én een eettafel die opgeleukt is met strookjes behang. Voor printen zoals op de boekenkast zou ik zelf op zoek gaan bij Etsy of Epla.

Een huis met een hart

Als ik dit huis in BoligLiv zie dan realiseer ik me dat ons nieuwe huis staat, ingericht is maar dat er nog veel te halen valt ten aanzien van het hart. Komend jaar lekker werken aan de invulling van lege plekken en verzameling mooie decoraties. Bij mij zullen deze veelal van kringloop winkels of marktplaats komen. Of natuurlijk tripjes naar Scandinavië!
When I look at this house seen in BoligLiv I feel envy. Just because I'm not there yet. We have the new house, decorated the rooms but it doesn't have this level of heart and soul yet. Something to further develop in the coming year. 

2011: circus!

Een thema staat vast voor 2011 en dat is circus! Je ziet meer en meer leuke prints en vrolijke artikelen die inhaken op dit thema. Zo ook in de nieuwe collecties van onze leveranciers. Komend voorjaar krijgen we het nieuwe behang van Ferm LIVING en ISAK met de wiebert en driehoeksvormen. Ook heeft de kinder collectie van Ferm LIVING vrolijke muurstickers van vlaggetjes en het Tiny Train kussen met slingers, olifanten en gezellige streepjes. De finishing touch voor een circus kamer komt van Rie Elise Larsen in de vorm van deze prachtige paper art hangers. We moeten nog even geduld hebben maar al dit moois komt eraan!

I love one of the themes for 2011: CIRCUS. Our suppliers showed great new products that relate to this theme such as the new wallpaper, wallstickers and cushions by Ferm LIVING, the wallpaper by ISAK and as a finishing touch the gorgeous paper art hangers by Rie Elise Larsen. It requires some patience for it to hit the shelves but all these goodies are coming!

Meekijken met de creatieve designer zelf....

Rie Elise Larsen maakt de meest leuke papieren creaties. Zij die haar boek hebben weten dat als geen ander. We hopen dan ook dat ze snel weer aan het tweede boek gaat werken. Tot die tijd vermaken we ons met haar filmpjes op You Tube. En vergeet niet: Lille Lykke verkoopt het decoratie papier én de linten van Rie Elise in de webwinkel. 
Rie Elise larsen is a true paper artist as well as a designer of colourful products. If you have her Christmas book Julefryd you know what I mean. Were also hoping the second book will come out soon. Vrolijke bedoeling

Dit interieur gefotografeerd door Stellan Herner voor Elle interior is een vrolijke circus achtige verzameling van spullen. Her en der een zorgvuldig geplaatst design stuk en met name veel briljante vonsten zoals de gezicht kussens, de ijzerdraad mobiel en de hal lamp. Je blijft kijken!
This cirque like interior was photographed by Stellan Herner for Elle interior. I love the bright colours and the mix of design and great little finds such as the smiling cushion, the dress lamp in the hallway and the wired mobile. You can keep looking and constantly find new things.

I absolutely LOVE....

 

al het moois van Zoé de Las Cases. Ik zit net op de site te kijken wat ik voor leuks op mijn kerst verlanglijstje wil zetten en ik kan gewoon niet kiezen! De magneten voor op de koelkast... De kartonnen kids die ik op een plint laat rusten of dat guitige meisje met het rode kroontje. Allemaal té leuk!

The magnets for our refridgerator.... The cardboard children to put on the edge of the floor or the cheecky girl with the red crown. So much to choose from!

Zomerzon?

Het lijkt erop dat we nog een paar daagjes zon gaan krijgen. Ik moest toen meteen denken aan deze foto van James Merell waar met lekker op een (heel fijn en decoratief) terras ligt te zonnebaden en in de lucht de dreiging van regen hangt.  


It seems we'll get just a few more days of sunshine. Hard to believe after all this rain. It reminded me of a James Merell image I came across the other day. Where people are enjoying a (very nice and decorative) lounge terras while the clouds have gathered over their heads.
