Wat een keukeeeeeeeeen!

Wat een geweldige keuken. Voor mij is deze keuken bijzonder door het plaatsen van alleen onderkasten en uitsluitend aan een wand, door de tegels aan de muur, de grote lampen en de vloer (met ruwe afwerking in verven langs de zijwand). Het zijn allemaal standaard keuken elementen maar het geeft een gevoel van een professionele keuken en is daardoor net even wat spannender. En je hebt tijdens het koken het gevoel dat je erbij bent. 
What a great kitchen. I like this because it only has the low cabinets and not the ones mounted on the wall, also places just on one side, lovely basic tiles that go all the way to the ceiling, big lamps and a rustic floor with rough edges. These are all basic kitchen elements but by placing them like this you create an industrial kitchen feel that make it just a bit more exciting. Plus when you're cooking you get the feeling you're still in contact with the others.

Envy and curious

Bij dit huis van Norm Architect wordt ik zowel jaloers als heel nieuwsgierig. Want in wat voor geweldige omgeving staat dit strak vormgegeven naturel huis. Die raampartij bij de eetkamer ziet er super uit. En de reflexie in het glas en doorkijk ramen bij de keuken doen vermoeden dat het een een groene, boomrijke omgeving staat. Als ik er zou wonen zou ik het waarschijnlijk al snel vol hebben met ABC fisher price letters op de ijskast, kleurrijke posters op de muur, bloemen op de tafel en comfortabele kussens in de bank. Maar dat hebben de bewoners wellicht inmiddels ook wel gedaan.

Looking at this house by Norm Architect I feel both envy and curiosity. The reflections in the window of the dining room and the see through window in the kitchen indicate that this amazing designed house must be located in a green natural surrounding. Most likely, if I would live here, the fridge would have magnets and Fischer price ABC all over it, the walls would be covered in colorful posters and the sofa would have comfy cushions. Maybe the residents have done the same by now.

Kitchen in disguise

Ben ik het of is dit net een keuken die zich vermomd heeft als groot werk bureau. Compleet met ladenblokjes eronder. Heel verfrissend en lekker om zo'n flexibele keuken te hebben. Ook fijn als je een lange verbouwing hebt en deze als tijdelijke keuken kunt gebruiken.
It is me or does this look just like a kitchen trying to disguise as an office workplace. I find it very refreshing and nice to look at a flexible kitchen like this. Also ideal if you are renovating and want a stylish temporary kitchen.

Altijd fijn om te zien als er weer een nieuwe 'visit' is geplaatst op het Dos Family blog van Isabelle en Jenny. Zoals dit inspirerende huis van Sara en Kristian. Leuk detail, ze hebben de wandkast boven het aanrecht zelf gemaakt en hebben hierbij eerst alle kopjes, glazen en schaaltjes gemeten om tot de ideale layout te komen.

I'm always pleased to find a new 'visit' on the Dos Family blog by Isabelle and Jenny. Like this inspirational home of Sara and Kristian. Nice detail, they've made the wall cabinet in the kitchen for glasses, cups and bowls themselves and first measured all items to make the most suitable layout.

Zwart wit met slimme kleuraccenten

Vrolijkheid, gezelligheid en praktische invulling van een lange pijpela keuken uit Hus o Hem. Mijn persoonlijke favorieten: de Bumling lamp, het kleed van Marimekko en de leuke verpakkingen van thee en doosjes met lepels op de plank. Veel zwart, wit en roestvrij staal spannend gemaakt met een paar slimme felle kleuraccenten. Nieuwsgierig naar de rest van het huis, vol dan de link.

A bright, cosy and practical long kitchen from Hus O Hem magazine. My personal favourites are the Bumling lamp, the Marimekko tablecloth and the great packaging of the tea and the spooned boxes on the shelves. Slimme verftechnieken in een frisse keuken

In deze keuken van Camilla zijn leuke kleuren en grappige verfcombinaties gemaakt. Zo is de onderkant van de bar heel licht grijs geverfd en de vloer heeft een lichtere rand waar de keuken begint. In z'n geheel misschien niet 100% mijn interieur keuze omdat er ook veel barokke meubelen in staan maar je haalt er zeker inspiratie uit.
Camilla has chosen nice colours and some fun optical tricks with her paint. Look at the light grey bar with wooden surface and the light edge in the floor around where the kitchen starts. Over all the interior is not 100% my choice as she also has quite a few more barok elements. But I definately see things that inspire me.

The sun shines in this house

Speciaal voor mijn jarige zus in Australië een zonnig zomers blogje. 

Zij zitten nu tenslotte in de 30+ temperaturen.

Geen grote keuken maar wel optisch door wederom wit te gebruiken. En praktisch met veel werkblad en fijne planken voor kookboeken en mooie spullen.

Not a very big kitchen but it seems bigger by using a lot of white. And with the work surface and the shelves it makes a very practical kitchen with space to store your beauties.

Heerlijke die roze accentkleuren in de poster, bloem en het boek. En ook het getinte glas in de witte deur brengt net dat beetje kleur.

Love the fuchsia colour details in the poster, flower and book. And the coloured glass in the white door also brings just enough colour into the room.

Ga mee 'op bezoek' met Dos Family

Als ik een fijne fix sfeervol en leefbaar wonen wil zien dan is mijn vaste bezoekadresje toch wel Dos Family. Met de visits die zij in Denemarken en Zweden doen hebben ze een prachtige verzameling op hun blog staan. En iedere keer hoop ik dat ze weer bij iemand anders over de drempel zijn gegaan. Zoals bij dit vrolijke huis met her en der leuke knutsel projecten van de kinderen. Zo maak je een huis toch 100% persoonlijk. 
When I need my fix of inspiration for cosy and practical living I know I'll find it at Dos Family. With their visits in Denmark and Sweden they have collected a range of beautiful and quirky homes on their blog. And every time I hope they've entered a new home when I get to their blog. Like this cheerful home with all these little DIY projects of the children. Doesn't that just make the house very personal. I love it!

Licht en robuust

Dat licht en robuust best wel samen kunnen gaan laat deze keuken van BoligPluss zien. Nostalgische kastjes in fris wit, een fijne witte houten vloer en een lekkere stoere zware tafel met aluminium stoelen. Zelf ben ik ook altijd groot fan van indoor ramen en doorkijkjes zoals achter de bank aan de eettafel.

Fris oranje in de keuken

Als je naar deze BoBedre keuken kijkt wordt het spontaan weer zomer. Past ook wel bij de zonnige dagen die we op dit moment nog hebben. Een heerlijke kleur explosie in oranje. Maar als je zo'n mooie wit/zwarte basis hebt dan mag dat ook wel. Ook leuk is het bordenrek wat gebruikt wordt als houder voor boeken en tijdschriften. 
Looking at this BoBedre kitchen it starts to feel like summer again. We're having 'sunny' days here in Holland so I thought it was ok to post in Autumn. A lovely colour explosion of oranje. Something you can afford yourself when the basis of the room is bright white and black. Nice detail is the platerack in yellow that is used to hold magazines and books. 

Een gezellige familie keuken

Eerlijk is eerlijk, ook dit komt op me over als een heerlijke keuken. Wel iets rommeliger door alles wat op de planken staat. Voor zo'n optie zou ik eerder kiezen als het een aparte ruimte is. Maar het oogt wel heerlijk leefbaar en dat is uiteindelijk het belangrijkste in een huis (voor mij dan). Met zo'n mooie tafel en stoelen midden in de ruimte. Oh ja, en haar outfit (shawl daar gelaten) ziet er ook super comfortabel uit.
Truth be told, I also really like this kitchen. It's a bit more filled with knick knacks than the one shown yesterday with all the goods displayed on the shelves. I would go for a kitchen like this if it was a seperate room, not open plan living. But it has a homely feel to it and in the end that is what I would be looking for in a home. How cosy with the table and chairs in the middle of the kitchen for family dinners. Oh yeah, I also really like her comfortable looking outfit (except for the scarve).

Weer zo'n heerlijke keuken!

Deze geweldige keuken is echt een voorbode voor een geweldig huis. Een mooie witte basis met her en der wat robuuste materialen. Gespot in BoligMagasinet en ik zou zeggen ga zeker ook even de rest bekijken.

Kleurrijke spullen voor in de keuken

Je mooiste keuken spulletjes zet je bij voorkeur natuurlijk niet in de kast. Nee, deze verdienen een mooie display. Zoals deze twee frisse voorbeelden van Fjeldborg. In ons huis zou dit iets te rommelig zijn (onze keuken zit ook in de woonkamer) maar ik wil al heel lang zoiets in de stacaravan. Misschien volgend voorjaar dit project maar eens gaan oppakken.
You're favorites kitchen items should not be locked up in a cuppord but put on display. Like there in these two great examples by Fjeldborg. It would not be suitable for our home as my kitchen is directly attached to the living room. But I've wanted this for our summer residence for quite some time now. Maybe with these two examples I should put this project into action next spring.

Een vrolijke, speelse familie keuken

Wat een leuke, practische, gezellige familiekeuken. Er zijn vrolijke accenten aangebracht met behulp van gekleurde knoppen, een rekje waar souvenirs en kunstwerkjes in kunnen en een prikbord voor de mooiste kinder foto's. En ook de mish mash van stoelen om de eettafel geven het geheel een speelse uitstraling.

Loads of fun accents that make it personal like the colourful knobs, the shelves holding little souvenirs and artwork and a board with the nicest pictures of the children. To complete the playful look the owners have put a mish mash of chairs around the table.

Zo moeder, zo dochter

Daar waar mama een gezellige keuken heeft met planken om kleurrijke kommetjes en glaasjes op te zetten wil de dochter natuurlijk ook het liefst zo'n gezellig keukentje om in te spelen. Dit is goed gelukt bij Ifra Lahell. Op haar blog zie je diverse foto's uit hun interieur en zeker ook de kinder hoekjes zijn met veel zorg ingericht.

Pretty pastels

Heel mooi hoe in dit interieur de pastels in details en accessoires warmte en sfeer brengen. En op deze manier ga ik zelfs metro tegels leuk vinden... En hele sfeervolle frisse keuken!

So beautiful how in this interior the pastels used in details and accessories bring warmth and atmosphere. This way I even begin to like metro tiles again... A very cosy fresh kitchen!

retro keuken licht blauw

Het blijft heerlijke eye candy, zo'n retro keuken. Of ze ook nog zo heel handig zijn... Al lijkt deze wel van alle moderne gemakken voorzien te zijn. Deze keuken was gespot op de Avotakka site. Het laat in ieder geval zien dat je voor een gezellige keuken niet afhankelijk bent van de laatste trends op keuken gebied.
True eye candy, these retro kitchens. Specially when they are completed with modern appliances as in this example. This kitchen was spotted in Avotakka.  It shows you don't have to rely on the latest kitchen trends to have a nice kitchen.

Prachtige keuken

Deze keuken is in een woord geweldig. Wat een frontjes op deze kastjes. Het lijken wel witte post-its die net wat omkrullen. Echt heel mooi. Ook de strakke lijnen en kleuraccenten in dit huis zijn een lust om naar te kijken. Helaas weet ik niet wie de producent van de keuken is. Maar de fotograaf van de foto's is Lerkenfeldt.
This kitchen is beautiful! The cabinets look just like little post-it notes that have curled a bit. I also really like the strong lines in the interior and the splashes of colour here and there. Unfortunately I don't know the maker of the kitchen. However, the photographer is Lerkenfeldt.

Voeg het voorjaar toe aan je keuken

Ooit gekozen voor strak industrieel met veel beton kleuren en wil je nu ook het voorjaar in huis halen. Dat kan eenvoudig met wat kleurrijke accessoires. Zoals deze ster lampen, vrolijk gekleurde vaasjes en bijvoorbeeld de theedoeken van Rie Elise Larsen.

Dat is pas echt knap. Door 'gedateerd' heen kijken en zien dat je met eigen sfeer en accessoires een fijne keuken kunt maken. Underbara Clara heeft dit zoals te zien is op de site van Hus o Hem. Lekker frisse kleurtjes met een lieve retro sfeer.
