We willen naar buiten!

Ook al zo'n zin in lekker weer en veel buiten zijn. Als ik deze foto zie ben ik al helemaal niet meer te houden. Heerlijk met een boek of lekker dik tijdschrift op het terras (zal dat eenvoudig gaan met een baby...?). Engelsen doen dit het hele jaar door in hun 'garden room' ik heb dan liever zo'n veranda zoals hier. Lekker met het briesje in je gezicht.
Also looking forward to sunny weather and spending time outside? Looking at this picture I want it yesterday! Enjoying a good book or a thick magazine in a comfy seat (will that be possible with a baby I wonder?). The English do this all year long with their garden room but I prefer a deck like this. With a gentle breeze of wind in your face.

Mooie basics met mogelijkheden

Met zo'n naturel interieur als hier gefotografeerd door Pernille Kaalund is het niet moeilijk om met alle woon hypes mee te gaan. Die voeg je als vrolijke accessoires gewoon toe. Zoals hier met de driehoeksvormen in de vlaggetjes en de kussens op de stoelen. En het zijn grote raampartijen tussen kamers zoals op de linker foto die me erg blij maken. Licht doorlatend en ruimtelijk!
With an interior as photographed here by Pernille Kaalund in such a basic style you can easily add accessories to keep up with todays trends. Like here with a splash of colour in the bunting and the pillows on the chairs. And the big windows indoors like in the left picture always make me happy. The light keeps going from room to room and it makes a home look more spacious.

Nieuwe ontdekking: Mimi Staaf

Zo zie je maar, het bezoeken van 'oude bekenden' brengt je weer op mooie nieuwe sites. Zoals Mimi Staaf. Ze knapt op, verkoopt en heeft leuke aanverwante producten in haar winkel. Zo'n shop zie ik ook nog wel 'ooit' zitten. Meer zien, bezoek ook haar site en blog eens.

'Almost spring' by Trine Thorsen

Het was alweer even geleden dat ikzelf door mijn blogarchief ben gegaan. Dit keer heb ik het jaar 2009 gekozen om eens te zien welke sites ik toen veel bezocht. Zo kwam ik weer terecht op de site van fotografe Trine Thorsen met deze 'almost spring' shoot. De komende tijd zal ik vaker terugblikken op mijn blog en oude inspiratie bronnen opnieuw bezoeken.
It's been a while since I've last revisted the archives of my blog. This time I've taken the year 2009 to see which sites I visited. I came across the site of photographer Trine Thorsen and this 'almost spring' shoot. In the following weeks I'll revisit some of my former inspiration sources more often.

Zo zou ik ook gaan decoreren voor Pasen

Het blog Torie Jayne is weer een geweldige ontdekking voor fijne paas decoraties. Met een paar spuitbussen zorg je ervoor dat al je paas decoraties op elkaar afgestemd zijn. Hier in roze/blauw tinten maar je kunt natuurlijk ook lekker los gaan op de neons. Voor de 'how to' gebruik je deze link naar het blog.
Another great discovery on the world wide web is het Torie Jayne blog. She has great DIY Easter decorations. By buying only a few cans of spraypaint you make your easter table decorations work together. She used shades of pink and blue but you could also go wild on the neons this year. Paas takken een keer helemaal anders

Ik ben inmiddels ook fan van Masking tape. Het heeft me even geduurd voordat ik om was. Maar door Pinterest kom je zoveel leuke toepassingen tegen van dit rijstpapieren tape in allerlei leuke kleurtjes. Zoals deze Paastakken van Luzia Pimpinella. Ik koop mijn masking tape bij de webwinkel Een nieuw avontuur. 
Finally, I'm also a fan of Masking tape. It has taken me a while to come on board. But since I've found so many great things to do with the ricepaper tape in all these different colors on Pinterest I'm a fan. Like these Easter branches by Luzia Pimpinella. I buy my masking tape at the online shop Een nieuw avontuur.
